Tuesday (yesterday) was great! We toured Boston Harbor in the morning and checked out the JFK Museum and Library in the afternoon. We wanted to tour Cambridge yesterday, but we didn’t have enough time. I even got souvenirs for people back home.
The Boston Harbor tour was so refreshing, with inhaling the salty sea air. I couldn’t keep up with what the captain was saying when he was giving the tour, though. Sometimes when he references certain buildings on the shore and talks about their historical backgrounds, it was hard for me to find which building or landpoint he was referring to.
Last night, we went to dinner at the Kowloon Restaurant, in Saugus, MA, which borders Revere. I had a delicious batter-covered shrimp with pineapples submerged in sweet and sour sauce. And the waitress set it on fire in front of us! Yeah! LOL
But alas, today is the last day of the trip. I return to work tomorrow (which I’m looking forward to, because I miss my job), and I return to my life. But there are so many things I want to do when I get back to Boston, like the Museum of African-American History and its Black Heritage Trail, Paul Revere’s house, Cambridge, more museums and the Boston Duck Tour. And I’m sure we’ll be back; it’s only a four hour drive from North Jersey.
GQOCsh I’m not easily impressed. . . but that’s impressing me! 🙂
