It’s a good thing I didn’t throw away any of my previous drafts from the six years that I’ve worked on “Daughters of Janus.” Those old pages really help me to get paragraphs for the current “Daughters of Janus” draft; that way, I don’t have to beat my brain out thinking about what to write from scratch. I’m also thinking about changing the novel’s title from “Daughters of Janus” to “Sweet Lemons” because of the novel’s regularly featured motif of lemons. To be honest, the more I think about it, the more I like “Sweet Lemons” more than “Daughters of Janus.”

I like the name daughters of Janus better. Sweet lemons it too cliche-ish. That is too much foreshadowing. I would more likely read a book that arouses my interest like…hmmmmm…daughters of Janus? Who is Janus. What does Janus have to do with this story. Sweet lemons….nah, next book on the book shelf. My opinion.
