The good news about rubbing elbows with fellow poets and fellow writers is that good luck will rub off on you.
I got an e-mail from Jean LeBlanc, one of the poets who read at the Succasunna poetry reading on April 10 (see here and here for past posts). The next day, I get an e-mail from her saying that she purchased a copy of my poetry book “How Fate’s Confusion Connects” from Amazon.com to give to a friend of hers, whom I’ve also met at The College of Poetry workshop in Warwick, NY. I shot her an e-mail, thanking her for ordering a copy of my book and to give my regards to her friend, and also to let me know what she thinks about my poems.
Thanks, Jean, for your support. We poets have to stick together!
