While I was cleaning out my apartment, I came across a book I received when I was a kid — my first dictionary, “My First Golden Dictionary” written by Mary Reed and Edith Osswald, illustrated by Richard Stark. 
My teacher gave it to me as a going away gift because I was transferring schools.
The following is what my teacher, Miss Carol, inscribed:

I hope you love your new class and school.
I am so proud of you!
