15th Annual St. Catherine of Bologna Photography, Art and Poetry Exibition

St. Catherine of Bologna with Three Donors by the Baroncelli Master of Bruges Oil on panel -- Flemish -- Circa 1480

The St. Catherine Patron of the Arts Association, based in Ringwood, NJ, will host its 15th annual Photo, Art and Poetry Exhibition and Sale this March. I showcased my poetry in this exhibition in 2010 and 2011 and had a great time. Hundreds of professional and amateur artists, poets, photographers and sculptors from the tri-state area participate in this event every year, so if you live in that area, this is a great opportunity to showcase your work! Who knows; you might even win a couple of prizes!

To enter, here’s information from the St. Catherine Patron of the Arts Association website:

The new Sister Matthew Award will be instituted in this our 15th year for works which interpret our motto, “Celebrating The Light That You Are.” To Sister Matthew, this means, “In us there is a light, a beauty, a thing we share with others. There is a light that comes out of you that will always help you.” If you would like to enter a piece of art, photography, sculpture or poetry that interprets this theme, mark your entries in the designated spot on your application and labels.

We provide an opportunity for artists to present their portfolio of works for sale on a CD that is presented on a large screen at our sales booth. This courtesy has been extended to our artists at no extra charge. If interested, send your CD along with your completed application. For those submitting photography and/or art, please attempt to make multiple prints available for sale through special order, in case more than one patron is interested in purchasing your work. We will also display your business cards (standard size only) at the information desk.

Once again, thank you for your support. We look forward to viewing your artistic work and seeing you at the Exhibition. If you have any further questions, call Linda at (201) 314-8045 or email her at info@stcatharts.org.
