What is my upcoming poetry ebook “A Symphony of Silence” about?

In 2006, I published my first book of poetry “How Fate’s Confusion Connects.” That was a thrilling experience, to put my soul in print and show readers a journey of that soul from my childhood growing up and into early adulthood.

My life, for the most part, has been a roller coaster, despite what many people view superficially as someone who lives in a bubble. In “How Fate’s Confusion Connects,” I penned many forms of poetry including couletes, cinquains and haikus. Sadly, that book is not available in any online or brick-and-mortar store (with the exception of some print copies I have in my possession), but I intend on re-releasing it with a new cover and everything. More on that at a later time.

Since publishing “How Fate’s Confusion Connects,” I participated poetry workshops, namely in “The College of Poetry” in Warwick, N.Y. Outside of that, I also tinkered with new poetry forms like senryu, narrative poetry, even ekphrastic poetry. Poetry workshops and writers’ groups I have been a part of were very helpful with their constructive criticism. Those efforts culminated in my upcoming poetry ebook “A Symphony of Silence.”

Relationships, my perspective on life (both a little bit satirical and more serious) and even a couple of classic literary characters are all in “A Symphony of Silence.” I will have a slew of subjects coming right at the reader.

Here is a blurb:

Compelling, raw, and emotionally-charged. These are only three ways of describing this unique collection of poetry. Teresa Edmond-Sargeant’s poems push boundaries, tear the soul apart, and sew it back together again with sheer eloquence. Within these eclectic pages, the famous, erratic character of Heathcliff will be revived, you’ll get into the very heart and mind of the writer herself, and, needless to say—you’ll be absolutely inspired. Through these poems, you will surely find yourself—it’s safe to say that there’s a poem in this book for anyone and everyone. Between all the rainy days, heartless exes, and “brewed wisdom,” lies the ultimate poetic experience eagerly waiting to unfold. Join Teresa Edmond-Sargeant as she keenly reels you into her vibrantly expressive world.

“A Symphony of Silence” will be out in early 2021 in multiple online bookstores.
