I know You fill my void,
but how can I feel full when I’m still
empty
and
hungry
for
more?
It feels good to just be able to write a poem. But it’s not as easy as I make it sound, nor am I trying to make it sound like the process was easy. This morning, I was inspired to write a poem. The resulting poem (above) isn’t positive like I was hoping it to be, but honestly, this poem was what was on my heart. Some days the words flow easily from my mind to paper, and other days they don’t. That’s how the life of a writer goes. Today, my brain was in the latter camp, although I produced something in the end.
