New original poem: ‘Once again, you are right’

Once again, you are right.

Is that what you want to hear?

Since I have no common sense,

You should be my brain, you hear?

Once again, you are right.

I’ve no depth, brains, or talent.

You say, “Don’t bother chasing

Your dream; that won’t be gallant.”

Once again, you are right.

Now there’s a mass consensus

On no matter what I do,

I’m derided or cause fuss.

Once again, you are right.

Because others agree too.

They tell me I’m sewerage

— But wait, does that make it true?

Although you may be “right,”

Opinions of me are slim.

I will not yield to you or

Others but only to Him.
